Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
Back in 2011 or 2012, I wrote a Christmas poem and shared it with my family. Since then I've been writing a new Christmas poem every year and sharing it with my family. Thought I'd post 2025's poem here as well.
“Christmas Colors”
Christmas green as Eden’s lawn,
Beauty lost that we now grieve,
Garden of creation’s dawn
That our parents had to leave.
Christmas white as beaming star,
Guiding wise men through the night,
As they rode and sought afar
A promised prince crowned with light.
Christmas red as Savior’s blood,
Dripping down the wooden cross,
To remove our stains and mud,
To make clean all who were lost.
Christmas gold as Heaven’s gate,
Opened by our Lord the Christ,
Saving us from a dark fate
Through his love and sacrifice.
Christmas colors, bright and fair,
Hues of green, white, red and gold
Inspire us each year to share
The greatest tale ever told.
Merry Christmas!
