Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
Some of you have noticed that I haven’t been posting much recently. I'm thankful for the emails and messages I’ve received from so many caring friends. I've not left Ricochet. I’ve just been in a bit of a funk. A bit depressed and stressed out. Work stuff and the like. I’m sure I’ll work out of it but I’ve been a bit down recently.
This leads to apathy and laziness. I’ll get an idea for a post, or a series of ideas, and I’ll think, “Nah. I’ll just watch a ballgame. Heck with it.” Sometimes I’ll even lay out some ideas for a post, but then decide that I don’t have the energy to organize them into a coherent essay.
For anyone curious what one of my essays looks like before I flesh them out into something that builds a series of ideas into a coherent message, I’ll paste below my latest aborted post. I just listed some ideas yesterday, but then decided that I didn’t feel like writing. So here are my basic ideas, in no particular order. I’d be interested in your views on these topics:

I just read through all that.
I probably would have combined a few of those, and re-ordered them to try to make a coherent point.
This time, I'll allow you to do so on my behalf. I'm really not in the mood. Sorry.
Thank you.

Down 7.2%. The S&P 500 went up to within 1% of its record high close in February. The DJIA went up 1.2%.

I have noticed.
You are never apathetic or lazy.
I suggest starting with a message, however modest, then adding ideas, however limited. The message's craftsmanship, which I am sure will be graceful, says so much more than any big thundering political emission.

Doctor, I've been in a bit of a "to heck with it, I'll
watch a baseball gamebinge watch Cheers" mood too. I'll write about why at some point, but one thing I have settled on is that if you need to watch a ball game...you need to watch a ballgame. You are who you are; that person is a writer (excellent) and a communicator. So eventually, you'll write and communicate. And it'll be awesome.Love, Granny.

Adding to that is he has apparently chosen a good team and has not alienated or been at odds with them. Perhaps they realize that it is all about results too.
This is a great list. I would say you have posted plenty with this alone.
