Our country is nearly 250 years old, and there's an organization working on commemorating it. Web site: https://america250.org/
They just selected the logo above, and I suspect they'll get some pushback. I just know some people will point out that we're not the only country in the Americas, even though everyone knows what "America" refers to.
I have some sympathy for that objection. I would rather it said "United States of America 250" (too wordy?) or "USA 250" (too short?).
As far as the ribbon coiling around to make the 250, I like it. They could have it make the USA, too.
Then again, maybe it should be an upside-down flag to indicate danger and distress.
