Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
Below is the internal conversation desperately needed among the Democratic Party Leadership. It begins with the question made famous by a British comedy team: Are we the baddies?
In 2020, we told the voters that Joe Biden was sharp as a tack. We told voters he was a moderate who would govern from the middle. We told voters he would be a unifier. All that was a lie. We knew none of it was true.
During 2021 through 2023, we conspired to prevent the American voters from learning that their president was seriously ill and getting worse.
In 2024, we nominated that same gravely ill president for a second four-year term, knowing full well he would be unable to serve.
In October 2020, we told voters Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. We got 51 intelligence officials to say so in writing. They lied. We lied. We knew the laptop was genuine. We knew Hunter was taking in millions by trading on his father's name and access. We knew. We always knew. James Biden, Joe’s brother, had been doing it for decades. We knew.
In January 2021, on Inauguration Day, Joe Biden signed a bunch of orders. None of them were from the middle. One of them opened our southern border. Completely. No vetting at all. Come one, come all. We didn’t tell the voters he would do this. Congress never voted for this. We kept telling the voters the border was secure. Then we told the voters the border couldn’t be secure without new legislation and more funding. We lied. We made zero effort to secure the border. We wanted it open. We wanted 10 million more unvetted illegal immigrants.
On January 6, 2021, a large protest turned into a riot. Rioters pushed through police barricades, broke windows and doors, and unlawfully entered the Capitol, which brought important work to a halt and forced members of Congress to move to a safe location. The number of destructive rioters was around a hundred. But behind them, there were a thousand people who only walked into the Capitol without any resistance. They walked around a bit, took some selfies, and left. For partisan political reasons, we prosecuted as many of those peaceful 1,000 as we could identify and find. Although they had no criminal record, we overcharged them with felonies. We denied them bail and held them for years.
By 2020, race relations had improved tremendously in America. Barack Obama was elected with broad support from white voters. Racial discrimination was not only illegal throughout the land, it was socially unacceptable throughout the land. Bigotry had been driven underground to small, dark places no one visited. For partisan political reasons, we told voters the opposite. We invented a new phrase, systemic racism, and said it was everywhere. We falsely said white supremacy was on the rise. We taught young children that all blacks are victims of white oppression and all whites are oppressors.
In the summer of 2020, we took an isolated, rare event — the unintended death of an unarmed black man in police custody — and used it to encourage and condone rioting, arson, and looting.
For decades, we have tolerated, if not welcomed, people into the party who reject normal politics. They seek revolution. They seek an end to the Constitution. They see America as a bigoted, unjust, unfair country where the rich oppress everyone else. While we officially reject political violence, we go silent when our party members get violent. We officially reject socialism, communism, and reparations, but make no effort to remove from the party those who advocate for socialism, communism, and reparations. We even give such people leadership positions.
Recently, we have tolerated, if not welcomed, anti-semites into the party. We sat silent while Jewish college students at prestigious universities were harassed and threatened. We pretend we are only supporting improvements for Palestinians, but we delude ourselves. We have become unable to condemn the slaughter of innocents.
Republicans have been our political opponents for over 150 years. We know Republicans love America, love Americans, love the Constitution, and love democracy. Notwithstanding that, we have falsely insisted, for over a decade, that their presidential nominee, Donald J. Trump is a traitor under the control of a foreign adversary (Putin); or a dictator who will end democracy in America; or a white supremacist who hates minorities; or a rich oligarch who hates poor people. None of our accusations is true. We continue to insist he is not normal and that he is a unique danger to the country. We refuse to condemn those who advocate violent resistance to his policies. Even after two assassination attempts, we have not softened our rhetoric.
We have breached centuries of political norms by using the justice system to punish, intimidate, and/or incarcerate our political opponents. We sought wiretap warrants to intercept internal communications within candidate Trump’s campaign based on false applications. We insisted on a two-year special counsel investigation based on fraudulent accusations (created by paid Democrat operatives). We twice impeached President Trump solely for partisan political gain. We convicted him of felonies and have fined him half a billion dollars for acts that were never considered illegal until Donald Trump became a political opponent.
We steadfastly oppose every common-sense reform designed to increase the integrity of elections.
In short, it appears there is nothing we won’t try in order to win elections.
Currently, we sit silent while many in our party advocate for violent resistance to federal officers who seek to enforce federal law. We encourage state and local officials to refuse to assist federal officers who seek to enforce federal law. Our disputes over policy lead us to oppose the arrest of violent criminals. We equate American law enforcement officers with Nazis.
Are we the baddies?

No. We are not the baddies.
Our ability to retain power by any and every means possible is critical to implementing what is best for the peasants people. We are (or we employ within our control) the experts that know best what the best goals and objectives for the world should be, and how every person should live and what decisions every person in every circumstance should make to achieve the best overall outcomes.
Therein is the problem that we must overcome.
“Love America”? “America” is a set of ideas and ideals that allows people to make choices that are not good for them. Even though they may also make choices that are good for them, and that improve the lives of others, we can’t let the people bear the risk that they’ll make the wrong choices.
“Love Americans”? There are many more non-Americans on the earth than there are Americans. This narrow-minded, bigoted loving of Americans causes people to ignore, or at least downplay, the role needed (through us the experts) in turning everyone on the planet into the exact type of person we the experts know would be best for them.
“Love the Constitution”? An outdated document that is based on a host of dangerous ideas popular a few centuries ago that led to an assumption that people can rule themselves, especially if they pay attention to a God or Supreme Being that has established principles of right living. Outdated ideas, as we have found that the concrete “we” are much better at directing people to make the right choices rather than relying on the people to make their own decisions, especially if they follow some spiritual being in making those decisions.
“Love democracy?” Unfortunately, large numbers of the American peasants people cling tenaciously to the outmoded notion that they know how to run their lives better than we the experts do, and therefore they should have some say-so through voting on the laws and rules that run their lives. Because so many people cling to this love of “democracy” we must for now at least maintain a façade that we too support “democracy.”
One path toward displacing these outdated ideas of the Constitution and its notions of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” is to bring in an overwhelming number of people from places in which such notions have never existed. Those newcomers can help us dilute and eventually suppress and maybe even extinguish the dangerous ideas that live on from the founding of the United States.
While many may consider it unfortunate that we may need to lie, cheat, and deceive people in order to maintain our positions of power, we must keep the bigger objective in mind – the people need us to guide them on how they should live, the decisions they should make. We cannot risk people choosing (whether through voting on government policies or by exercising personal liberty) the wrong path that may interfere with getting to the big objectives and goals that we who know better have established.
So, no, we Democrats are not the “baddies.” But we may have to use some less-than-completely-noble tactics though to achieve the ultimate end we know is better.
By the way, it should go without saying that we must continue to remain silent however about our personal gains (financial and psychological) that are byproducts of maintaining control over the population.

It’s not just ICE. The Left wing of the Democrat party - the cultural-Marxist/ CRT / pro-Hamas wing - openly advocates the overthrow of the United States.
