I looked around to see what Tucker Carlson has had to say about Navalny's death and found this from The Hill.
Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson said “no decent person would defend” what happened to Alexei Navalny after the Russian opposition leader’s death in prison was announced Friday. Carlson, a former Fox News pundit who has faced backlash for his recent extended interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, told the Daily Mail in a statement, “It’s horrifying what happened to Navalny.” “The whole thing is barbaric and awful. No decent person would defend it,” he added.
I notice that in these quotes he refers to "what happened" but not to who made it happen. If that represents selective editing by The Hill, it doesn't reflect well on that source. If the quotes are full and accurate, it doesn't reflect well on Carlson.
President Biden and other top U.S. officials promptly blamed the Russian leader for Navalny’s death. “Putin is responsible. What has happened to Navalny is yet more proof of Putin’s brutality. No one should be fooled,” the president said in remarks from the White House.
And there is no mention here of Putin's earlier use of various government agencies to raid Navalny's offices and disqualify him from the ballot. Is that because Biden didn't mention it, or because The Hill didn't want to mention it?
I see that Dean Phillips and Nikki Haley have weighed in on the killing. But what about presidential candidates such as Ron DeSantis, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and others?
And would this be a good time to bring up Facebook's cooperation with the Russian government in early 2015 in blocking a Facebook page about a Navalny rally in Russia? Or to bring up other Facebook cooperation with censorship efforts by authoritarian regimes?

Perhaps Biden didn't mention it because that is exactly what he has done to Trump. The comparison, in this case, to Putin's tactics are obvious.

What's up here? Are you demanding that people "weigh in on the killing"?
How would any of these people know what happened? How do you know? How does Tucker Carlson know?
This is another manifestation of the rush to judgment phenomenon. Something is reported, and just about everyone forms an opinion about what happened, generally on the basis of little or no information. People get outraged about whatever they think happened, and then get outraged at anyone who doesn't get outraged.
I think that in a sane world, people would just report the news. So-and-so died in a Russian prison. He was a political opponent of Putin and was convicted in whenever of whatever. You know, like Joe Friday. Just the facts.

Was Navalny still in prison, as back in Aug of last year, he was sentenced to prison there in Russia for 19 years? (IIRC.)
As far as Tucker -- Tucker is wise enough to not point fingers to Putin yet. As after all, who knows who is behind it?
It would be stupid for Putin himself to take out an opposition leader like Navalny.
If this was a black flag event, designed to not only eliminate Navalny but also Putin, there is a third benefit - it helps take down Carlson as well.
The traditional media is happily weaving the narrative as to what an enemy of Putin that Navalny happened to be.
If we had an actual, real journalism-interested media, its members would be laying out the full list of all possible suspects - including our CIA.
So he condemned it, but that was not good enough?

Did I demand that people weigh in on the killing? How about sticking with the facts? Why are you rushing to judgment?
I see that you omitted a lot of relevant facts.
