Israel prevents genocide in Syria

How many times have we been told that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza? Quite often, despite the fact that Israel spends enormous effort to inform civilians in Gaza when military operations will be directed at where they are located.

Hamas hides behind civilians in order to increase the civilian death toll. Israel tries to keep the civilian death toll down, while still trying to accomplish their military objectives.

There isn't much attention being paid to the genocide attempt in Syria, where Islamists have tried to massacre the Druze population. Israel stepped in at the request of Druze leaders.

I don't expect Israel haters to give Israel any credit for stopping a genocide in Syria, just as I don't expect Israel haters to give Israel any credit for being one of the few places in the Middle East where Muslims enjoy human rights.

As someone who is very pro-Israel, this latest effort by the IDF isn't surprising. Israel is a great country that values human life, even if they have to go to war against terrorist groups that don't value anyone's life. Some people want Israel wiped off the map, thinking the Middle East would have more peace if Israel were gone. Perhaps, but it would be the peace of tyranny. Israel offers peace and freedom.

I decided to add a link to Sam Harris and Haviv Rettig Gur discussing Zionism and Jihadism.

You don't seem to get the fact that any and all bad behavior by Muslims is the fault of the Jews and the USA. Come, feel the power of the Dumb Side...

The explanation I read today on social media was that the Al-Queda terrorist, now the perfectly humanitarian leader of Syria, was able to maintain a delicate balance between warring tribes in Southern Syria. But then Benjamin Netanyahu decided to intervene on behalf of one of the tribes, who is also a drug dealer. So, once again, Israel is creating war when there could have been peace.

This kind of propaganda, offered up by Al-Jazeera, convinced a lot of people.

As a person of significant Jewish heritage, and well known as such - in the most anti-Israel country in the Western World,- I have made it this far since October 7th without being browbeaten about Gaza. That changed tonight, when my wife’s manic depressive friend cornered me, she having a few drinks on board. I listened politely as she listed perceived atrocities committed by the IDF in Gaza. But when she moved on to insisting that women weren’t raped or murdered in October 7th, I told her that she was upsetting me. I thought that was the end of it, but she kept coming. I told her I wished I had stayed at home.

I just wanted to share this experience.

But that would have been only for your own benefit, it would have been to the benefit of others too if SHE had stayed home.
