Two somewhat unique takes on Trump

You have all heard an uncountable number of takes about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life. But I think I can contribute two different takes you might not have heard before.

My friend, whom I call Good Boss, used the power of her female empathy to observe that Trump was a changed person when he showed up at the RNC. His brush with death had changed him emotionally. She even teared up a bit and she isn't prone to hysterics.

We observed that Trump was a different Trump in the debate. He was much more measured and disciplined. His current campaign is throwing out the red meat while keeping his boorishness to a minimum. He is capable of learning and changing.

I personally don’t have human empathy, let alone feminine empathy, which I consider to be a kind of superpower. But I do religiously listen to the flagship Ricochet podcast. Rob Long has said multiple times, “In politics, an incredibly important rule is… don’t be weird. Almost everyone who wins in an election is the guy who isn’t as weird as the other guy.” Rob Long gets optics. He knows how to depict characters in a way to get an audience to either hate or like them.

After the debate and the assassination attempt, Trump looks like the normal one by contrast. The media has been forced to admit that Biden is too old for the job of President and that the rhetoric against Trump has been overheated.

Basically, the MSM has been shown to be at fault, which is always a win for Trump.

My apologies if you have heard these takes before.

    I like it.

I also think there's something to be said when you dodge death people might be more willing to forget the weird.

I wasn't aware that the media acknowledged that their rhetoric against Trump was overheated. I must have missed that one, Henry.
