In Minnesota, it’s open season on Teslas - and conservatives

Hennepin County (the largest county in Minnesota) Attorney Mary Moriarty is at it again. Deemed the most "woke" prosecutor in America, she is refusing to charge state government employee Dylan Bryan Adams, a Minnesota Department of Human Services analyst, with any crimes after he was caught on camera by police vandalizing six Teslas in the Minneapolis area, causing over $20,000 worth of damage. Instead of being charged with a felony, Adams isn't being charged with anything. Instead, he has been placed in a non-criminal "diversion" program. No jail, no criminal record, and won't even lose his job. He remains free to vandalize again.

A strong message has been sent: it's open season on Tesla, and any other business or individual that refuses to align with the Left's agenda. Last year, the offices of conservative Minnesota think tank, The American Experiment, as well as two other conservative organizations, were firebombed. Amazingly, in a congested metro area where security cameras abound, neither Gov. Tim Walz's state authorities nor Biden's FBI and ATF could come up with any leads. The crimes remain unpunished.

The Minneapolis police are understandably frustrated by Moriarty's continuing refusal to hold those committing criminal acts accountable if they are associated with the Left or allegedly oppressed communities. (Google her name to learn about Minnesota murderers and rapists getting wrist slaps during her tenure, which has even drawn criticism from Gov. Walz.) You can bet that if an individual caused thousands of dollars of damage to BLM or Planned Parenthood property, Moriarty would have thrown the book at them, just as she has attempted to do with law enforcement officers accused of misconduct regardless of the facts (see the case of now-vindicated Minnesota State Patrol Trooper Ryan Londregan to get a flavor of her two-tiered approach to justice). This is what happens when the Chief Public Defender becomes the top county prosecutor, as George Soros looks on, smiling.

But this is present-day in the People's Republic of Minnesota. The land of 1,500 buildings burned during the Floyd Riots in 2020, causing an estimated $500 million in damages, with only a handful of arsonists and looters actually being held accountable. But God help you if you left the house without a mask during that time. For those of us old-timers, the state is unrecognizable.

It's such a great state, and has been abandoned for Leftist ideology and causes. So Sad.

4X over the financial limit for a diversion like this. The limit is supposed to be $5000.

Political crimes for the Democrat party are OK here.

The next-door Anoka County prosecutor put out a public statement that he would never do that.

Baffling. The perp was a white man, apparently not LGBTQXYZ+ so he has no victim status that would excuse criminal acts so what was the DA thinking?

Pam Bondi has taken on other such cases, and can do the same here, no matter what Minnesota does. Federal charges would likely bring a harsher penalty too.

The Soros push to install DA’s nationwide has been incredibly effective at destroying the rule of law. Like taking over the education industry, the left saw the way long before we even realized what they were doing.

The only thing in our favor is that the left always goes too far. The education industry came down hard on the wrong side of the trans athlete issue, an easily 80-20 issue with the public. Note that even twin cities legacy media is calling out Moriarity now.
