Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
The Socialists went 3-for-3 with Mamdani’s endorsements.
Brad Lander beat two-term Rep. Dan Goldman in NY-10, and Claire Valdez won the primary to replace Rep. Nydia Velázquez in NY-7. CBS just called Darializa Avila Chevalier as the winner in New York's 13th Congressional District, beating incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat.
These are solidly Blue districts, so the winners of the Democratic primaries are likely winners in the November general elections.
Toss in some Socialists newly elected in NJ, too, and “The Squad” will have to be upgraded to “The Platoon.”

I think of them as the Anti-Freedom Caucus. And look at cities that run by socialists: NYC, LA, Chicago, Seattle, Austin, ... We have a lot of ignorant people making bad choices in elections. The last time we had so many commies in America it took 40 years to purge them. Roll up your sleeves, because we have a lot of work to do.

Goodbye New York - anyone starting a business there has to have their head examined

I didn’t know it happened before: 1911-13 brought in more than a few socialist mayors. That’s a lot earlier than I realized. Republicans are too sanguine and insulated I think about how fervent are all the totalitarians- those who profess religion and those who just want to burn things down today. Both intend to eliminate you and me.

It also looks like the Socialists also won 10 or 11 seats in the NY State legislature.
