Yesterday, at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, a shooter burst into a classroom headed by a Jewish professor (who heads the Judaic Studies department), shouted "Allahu Akbar!" and opened fire. Two students died, 9 were wounded.

Everyone - police, Brown's president, students - insists they know nothing, cannot remember what the shooter yelled, and have no idea of any motive.

In Sydney, two Muslim shooters just murdered at least a dozen Jews on a beach celebrating Chanukah, and injuring far more. In Australia, as with all liberal enclaves, only the bad guys get guns. Reportedly, local police were on scene and did NOTHING for at least 20 minutes. A local shopkeeper named Ahmed Al Ahmed disarmed a shooter despite being shot twice.

In Redlands, California, over 25 shots were fired at a decorated Jewish home. The shooters yelled, "Free Palestine, N*gger, and F- the Jews."

All three happened between Friday night and early this morning.

My wife turned to me this morning and started talking seriously about fleeing this country.

Note that I do not want Jews to wallow in victimhood. I don't want police to protect us. I am keenly aware that, when it counts, each person is responsible for their own liberty and safety.

This is the pathetic, sick world view that has taken hold and quite frankly, I never thought it would get this bad, as bad in the so called modern, enlightened, politically-correct, planet-conscious, all lives matter world. Oh wait......only some lives matter - I forgot. iWe -- I do believe that so much of this speech-censoring, violent protesting etc. that we have seen in recent years has been planned and executed by who knows - but I don't think it is a natural occurrence. It doesn't mean it is any less despicable.

Like the Save the Planet drama with Greta, then George Floyd which has fueled reverse-racism. But ever since Oct. 2023 the protests on campuses and the insanity that has followed is increasing.

I want to ask your opinion. I was reading some novels and one by Daniel Silva unfolded the story about the origin of the current state of Israel, the Balfour Agreement after the war, and how the region was carved up. Was it set up to fail?? The original agreement seem to state neither Jews or Palestinians could dispute anything. No one was happy. Immediately after was the first attacks from the Arab states. Then 1967.......every president has offered a huge piece of the pie (to Arafat) and he and they always walked away.

The current generation seems to not know history - even American history. But to set the record straight, peace was offered many times and rejected. So this fuel to the fire has never diminished.

The Left apparently succeeded in de-stigmatizing political and religious violence, though it only applies to Judaism and Christianity. What I don't understand is how law enforcement participates in the concealment of things like the UK grooming scandal. This is de rigeur somehow, I suppose by seizing the management positions and freezing out any disagreement.

I can't help but wonder if Bondi Beach happens if the gunmen had a reasonable expectation of nearby people being armed. I suspect this particular example would have happened because they remained on the attack as law enforcement arrived. Let us hope this atrocity yields a shift in awareness and perspective.

Flee the country? Do as you feel you must. If this is what it has come to, we are a much lesser country. I will only offer that in the interior we don't use religion as a measure of person because we have so many variations here at the crossroads between there and elsewhere. Regardless, what I would like is for both our families to feel safe.
