I'm airing new videos on Augustine on YouTube and Rumble. Ever wondered just what that guy's deal was? Ever heard the hilarious story of how he got railroaded into being a pastor? Ever wondered what to make of that whole Christian conversation about creation, corruption, and free will? Maybe you don't even know who I'm talking about, in which case--ever wondered why you should be wondering things about people like Augustine, Boethius, and Aquinas? I hope I can help.

Here’s where you can subscribe to me on Rumble, and here’s the Rumble channel for this new series, where several of the videos have aired. Here’s my YouTube Augustine playlist.

Gotta check this out. I’m reading Boethius and Ignatious in church for Lent. That’s the only way I can make myself read them, with a million very reasonable excuses available at home. Ignatious super easy read, Boethius not so much.

Well, time for more shameless self-promotion. But don't use any of this if it isn't useful. I won't be offended or anything.

Thank you so much. Something happened to my brain recently and I just cannot bear most modern literature any more. They seem so self indulgent and melodramatic, and it’s making me grumpy.
So I’m luxuriating in a tall stack of classic books that I made my poor homeschooled kids read. Your commentary will be icing on the cake though I’ll probably listen while I’m gardening. One cannot sit down all day.

I'm currently reading the Confessions. Will check this out. I always need help with philosophy.
