Blessings Appear Out of Thin Air

Well.

An email from the author of my latest audiobook appeared in my inbox this morning. I admit I read it with a little trepidation... if anyone has a right to criticize the job I do, it's the author.

I needn't have feared; he was effusive and detailed in his praise. He had originally wanted to narrate it himself, and gave permission for me to do it only after listening to samples from several narrators. I'm thrilled (and relieved) that he feels I did the book justice. The icing on the cake was being informed that his two young children, who appear often in the book, liked it too.
