Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
It's time to stop holding back. Iran must become inoperative. Blow their infrastructure to smithereens, occupy the Persian side of the Strait of Hormuz.
This may be America's last chance to destroy the menace of radical Islam.
The democrats are on the rise and could occupy the White House in two years' time.
We must bring to bear whatever it takes, including troops on the ground, to complete this mission.
The Jewish nation has been around for more than three millennia. It can take care of itself, but America has only been around for two and a half centuries -- much less mighty than ancient Egypt or Rome, which both bit the dust -- and I fear for its survival.
I hear those naysayers who say, "Even though I support the existence of Israel, I have a problem with Netanyahu." I have a problem with him too; he hesitates to finish the job.

Regardless, I cannot advocate an invasion of Great Britain.

It's in our interest to get the mullahs out. It's not in our interests to destroy Iran. It never was. We signed on because President Trump was moved by Iranian protesters and made an impulsive promise he would help them. He did it, calculating that they could overthrow their own government. If they can't, then this has been a colossal miscalculation. A well intentioned blunder, like Iraq in 2003.
If they can, fantastic. I'm not ready to call this a failure. And if they can't, let's not BS ourselves about how brilliant this idea was. A month in and it's not looking too good.
Because we don't have the troops to occupy a country the size of western Europe. Not even close. When we did it 80 years ago, we had an army of ten million men. We don't have the money for it either.

I just hope we can defend our homeland against Communists and Islamists. It will take people who treasure what was left to them.

If the only way to get the mullahs out is through wanton destruction, so be it. Iran is a big country so destroying a piece of it to get our point across would be enough.
Japan was partially destroyed in WWII to make our point and Iran is far more dangerous.

Napalm and nuclear weapons do a bit more than partially destroy a place. This was after spending years in brutal combat with Japan. We also had a goal of total surrender from Japan. Our goals with Iran seem a bit more nebulous. The American public doesn't want to get into a multi year war, committing ground troops with Iran to make our point with Iran.
