When we follow the scientific method, we can observe the world (and even the universe) around us, and from those observations make suppositions and develop theories as to why they are happening. From those theories we can predict what happens next. If the suppositions and theories are good and true, you can correctly predict the future.
If your theories are wrong, however, then your predictions will be incorrect.
No - most of the new power stations being built are not renewable energy sources. It's because the United States phased out many obsolete coal power plants with new, highly efficient natural gas power plants.
I've rarely seen Al Gore give an interview or take questions in recent years. There's one question I always wanted to ask him: If he's so concerned about sea level rise, why did he buy an $8.8 million oceanfront mansion in Montecito, CA? It leads me to wonder whether he truly believes this. But any journalists with the guts to ask would never be granted the interview.
While weather is not climate, it does amuse me that there are winter storm warnings in Idaho and Montana that warn of up to 8 inches of snow this week.

It's been fun watching the hysterics on X from the Europeans about their heat wave. I especially love the UK Greens who refuse to contribute to the Warming Crisis by using the dreaded Air Conditioning.
Fun fact. The UK contributes 0.03% of CO@ emissions worldwide. The UK could vanish tomorrow, and it would not be noticed.
The idiotic idea that humans will go extinct if the planet warms 1-2 degrees is amazing. Humans live in all climates from the Arctic to the Sahara. But the damage they are doing to the minds of the gullible is terrifying.

I always love it when activists try to decry the American widespread use of air conditioning (things are probably going to change based on the current heatwave in Europe). While there are other factors in the climate one should realize Paris is as far south as Seattle….all of the UK is north of Seattle. Outside of Spain. Greece and the southern half of Italy, all of Europe is north of the the latitude of Albany NY… not exactly American hotspots. So you can tell the Euroweenies we don’t need ac tips from the equivalent of Eskimos and Canadians.,

And Rome, Italy is further North than NYC . . .
