Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
Harvard President Claudine Gay has been accused of plagiarism. Rumors had been circulating for some time, but now many professors and scholars are coming forward, giving multiple examples of egregious plagiarism. It's remarkable that the President of Harvard has published only eleven peer reviewed articles in her entire career. It's even more remarkable that four of them involve extensive plagiarism. It's more remarkable still that this didn't become public knowledge until after her testimony before Congress recently, which was inconvenient for Democrats. Imagine that.
Bill Cosby would understand. His horrifying behavior with women remained discreetly unmentioned until he publicly stated that he believed that some problems in the black community might be partially due to behavior in the black community. That was it. Next thing he knew, his secret crimes were magically public knowledge, and he was in prison. He proved to be a problem for Democrats. So they fixed the problem. The same way they always do.
Joe Biden was never a brilliant intellect. But surely he recognizes a pattern here. Hunter's tax problems are just the beginning - a warning that if Joe doesn't step down, then he will be removed. Via the politics of personal destruction. Which is the only type of politics the Democrats know. Just ask Dr. Gay, or Mr. Cosby, or Mr. Trump, or Clarence Thomas (a case Mr. Biden might recall), or anyone else who proves inconvenient for Democrats. Democrats have one playbook. And they follow it step by step, every single time. Mr. Biden may feel powerful and indispensable, but Robespierre is chuckling and shaking his head right now...

Although, the difference between Clarence Thomas and the others is he wasn't destroyed because everyone knew it was a pack of lies and a "high-tech lynching of an uppity black" man. What happens to Trump is yet to be seen, but those prosecutions are a pack of lies, too.
