Let’s get serious, folks. After all these years of almost no one being held accountable in the federal government, why should things change, just because a former president was almost assassinated? We can all tell that the Secret Service is not only an incompetent investigative agency, but they either don’t know how to provide adequate protection to their protectees or they refuse to take this responsibility seriously.
In spite of the substantial lack of information, we do know certain things:
It appears that they are giving everything in the investigation equal priority, even though they lack the resources to look into all the potential issues simultaneously. Does anyone know which are the most significant things to know at this time?
I don’t care whether the Acting Secret Service Director is ashamed (although he should be). I care about whether he has assigned resources properly. It is urgent that he do so.
Donald Trump has said he plans to schedule more outside venues for his campaigning, although the Secret Service has discouraged him from following through (and probably rightly so). What do they need to know—what steps need to be taken—what assurances need to be given—to make sure that Donald Trump is not assassinated?
Should he take the risk and schedule his rallies outside?

Yes. He cannot be seen as giving in to fear.

Since he has said he will schedule outside, maybe they'll get their act in gear this time. Or not.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
What part of "government" do you not understand? 😉
The level of incompetency is nigh incomprehensible. I think they just did not care about Trump's safety and therefore were slack in their coverage.

According to reports at TGP, the identity of the woman in charge at the site where Trump was shot is being withheld. Further reports say she is still in charge of security at Trump's future events.
