Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
From Fox News:
London's Metropolitan Police chief warned that officials will not only be cracking down on British citizens for commentary on the riots in the U.K., but on American citizens as well.
"We will throw the full force of the law at people. And whether you’re in this country committing crimes on the streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will come after you," Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley told Sky News.
With all due respect to Sir Mark Rowley, we left you behind a long time ago. One of the great things about the United States is that I can experience anything Europe or the UK has to offer, both the good and the bad, without a passport. I live in Oregon which is slightly larger than the UK. I can also choose another 49 states to visit without a passport, for the UK and European experience.
The best little DMV is located in Arizona which provides a little taste of bureaucracy. Even though there might be two persons in the building, you still have to take a number for service. If a cowboy walks past you, he'll say howdy. If I'm in the mood for something more elegant, a visit to Philly provides "What is youse looking at?"
I can choose Louisiana for a smattering of French. There is Boston and the Northeast for wonderful accents. Kaui for a taste of Polynesia. Alaska for the Arctic experience, and for the chance to experience an old Soviet show trial, a Manhattan courtroom will do. If I want the full meddling experience of the EU, there is always Washington DC.
There are wonderful people in the UK, but as they say in Paris, the most beautiful women in France are Americans.
A little taste of Oregon:

It confuses the Eurofolk that we have the kangaroo courts and speech controlling federal agencies but do not yet have the speech laws like theirs, that would provide a basis for reciprocal extradition. As soon as the Loonie Left stacks the Court the Uniparty will pass the necessary statutes and mass extraditions will begin.

I knew lots of good people in UK when I was there 30 years ago. I don't hear much from them now but I think they must be horrified. They used to pointedly ignore politics, but I doubt that is possible now...
