I have been dealing with a fairly recent onset of fatigue, muscle weakness and poor balance. Naturally, as an astute physician, I began to worry that I had developed a progressive neurodegenerative disease that would leave me paralyzed and incapable of normal activity. I have had every test known to man in the past few weeks. Everything appears to be normal for my age. Today I had an evaluation from a physical therapist to develop an exercise and stretching routine appropriate for my current condition.

I asked him for an honest assessment of my situation. He hemmed and hawed as he should, but basically said that I had OTD disease. This condition was slightly advanced from TOTDY disease, which I definitely didn't have. Thankfully, his therapy should help.

TOTDY disease is too old to die young disease and OTD disease is older than dirt disease. Now, he didn't describe my condition in those exact words, but he could have. I'm surprised to say I feel good about it. I can handle the truth.

I don't know what your age is but would you benefit from a really good chiropractor (get x-rays)? Is it possible you have some pinched nerves, and also how about your ears? Do you hear ok? Also could you be having reactions from food allergies? There are many new ones around since so much processed foods - and did you get the Covid shot? Have a reaction? God bless you and get well!

That is a good point. One thing about having any autoimmune disease is that it gets the immune system all hepped up, and then it reacts to other things it shouldn't react to. I have found that I seem to react to more and more things as time goes on, even though I avoid known triggers.
