The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was shut down about a year ago. Since then, I've noticed a couple of things:
1) Latin American and other countries around the world are electing more pro-American leaders.
2) America's Democratic National Committee is out of money.
It's hard to say for sure, of course, but I don't think that these two events are coincidences. I think they are direct results of USAID's money spigot being turned off.
The vast majority of USAID money was used for leftist and other anti-American causes. So around the world, leftist and anti-American leaders are suddenly underfunded. And here in America, our leftist and anti-American party (the Democratic Party) is suddenly underfunded.
Again, it could be a coincidence. I guess. But I don't think so. This is presumably what Mr. Trump expected to happen, and it turns out he was right. Through USAID, America has been the largest contributor to anti-American causes for years now. It's possible that shutting down USAID may be the greatest gift that Donald Trump gave to America and the rest of the world.
Without a means to surreptitiously siphon off taxpayer dollars through USAID, it turns out that the Democratic Party can't raise money. And if Trump manages to do away with mail-in balloting, it will turn out that they can't win elections, either.
There is a reason that Democrats are openly stating their intentions to continue mail-in balloting, stack the Supreme Court, do away with the Senate, and add more leftist states once they're elected. That is how they will gain and hold power.
How does the right attempt to gain and hold power? By cutting off funding to our enemies, and by holding honest elections.
The differences in their strategies are telling.
The Democratic Party is deeply unpopular. They can't raise money or get votes without cheating. If they regain control, America will have a very, very serious problem.
So will the rest of the world.

It does make you wonder why some Republicans (especially in the Senate) are working so little to fix the voting issues.

I think it is because they do not really want to win. The GOP establishment types would prefer to remain in "opposition," so as to bolster their fundraising and to continue their time wetting their beaks in the federal trough.

Another factor in Bolivar-land is the disabling of the Dominion/Smartmatic/Venezuela/Cuba voting machine infrastructure. Maybe the most significant factor, beyond defunding the commies' NGOs.

I have long suspected that there is some truth in this idea that USAID is a way (or one of several ways) to launder money for leftwing causes. However, I'd have to see the math before I could agree that it was a vast majority of the money.
I will also point out that when the USSR ran out of USSR-AID money, the Soviet Union collapsed. How much was cause and how much was effect could be argued. In any case, the Russian people of the USSR who remember those glory days are now lashing out with aggression against their neighbors, because they want to Make Russia Great Again. Won't happen unless they can revive something like USSR-AID.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of corporate sponsors for the left. I would not jump the gun in announcing the demise of the Democrat party.
