Yes, that is actually what Tucker Carlson and his lunatic guest Jess Elofson concluded recently. Further, they decided that mixing letters with numbers is fake math. Math being a subject Tucker regards Elofson as having "high" knowledge of because he can build a wood kiln. Jess Elofson is a ceramicist, so I'm not sure why we would care about his views on algebra or Jews.

You'll want to watch the video of the exchange (NSFW). It was so funny, I've enjoyed it multiple times.

Now for some serious research. Sadly, Jews cannot claim any role in the development of algebra. I didn't realize until I started reading on it that modern algebra actually took almost four millennia to develop. Like many foundational inventions, its early discoveries began around 2000 BC with Babylonians interpolating to find approximate solutions to problems. It continued developing under the Egyptians, Greeks, and Indians.

But the Persians gave us the name algebra (al-jabr in Arabic) and some of the key tools. The Persian mathematician al-Khwarizmi (c. 780-c. 850) figured out that you could subtract the same value from both sides of an equation and that both sides would remain equal—an operation called al-jabr in Arabic. That seems so obvious in hindsight, but someone had to figure it out. He wrote a book called Al-Jabr in about 820 that explained these and other algebraic concepts. This book was translated into Latin in 1145 and was the main European textbook for mathematics until the 16th century.

Al-Khwarizmi is responsible for codifying our modern number system (1,2,3,4,5, etc., i.e., the Hindu-Arabic system) and the positional decimal system. In other words, the number 10 is one greater than 9 and not merely one. He studied the work of Indian mathematicians and wrote a lost book on it that was translated into Latin in the 12th century and became widespread throughout Europe. Leonardo Fibonacci of Pisa popularized this system with Liber Abaci in 1202.

Al-Khwarizmi's name was written in Latin as Algorismus, which became the Latin name for his method of algebraic computations. That version of his name survives in the English word algorithm.

So, sorry, Jews, you can't enslave us with algebra. It's the Persians and the Arabs who enslave us with algebra. But never fear, you do still control the weather. If you could make this dang heat wave in Kansas stop, I would be forever grateful.

That's my problem with Elofson even before he overruns the runway, slams into conspiracies and explodes: he assumes, and we all know the military's breakdown of that word, that it's a flat fact that AI won't pay off and can't pay off, so who's doing this and why? My dull, mainstream, capitalist response is, because rightly or wrongly the investors think the long payoff will be worth it. History shows they've been right before or wrong before.

But what Elofson and Elofson-related critics are saying is harder and more specific: he is saying, in so many words, that they know right now it can't pay off. So why are they doing it? It must be deep ideological reasons and conspiracies.

And the subway line of every conspiracy theory seems to end up at Jewish Station.

These theories are politically inconsistent. J. Robert Oppenheimer was ethnically Jewish. So was his career-long enemy, Lewis Strauss. Julius Rosenberg was Jewish. So was the judge who sentenced him to death. There were Communists in Hollywood, and some were Jewish. So was the most powerful man in Hollywood, Louis B. Mayer, a staunch conservative who supported the GOP his entire adult life.

What distinguishes Jews isn't intelligence, but wisdom. That's cultural DNA, not physical DNA.

I guess we see now why Carlson needed chimp-controllers when he was at Fox. His descent into madness is incredible to witness.

I wonder how else the Jews control us:

    Traffic laws?

    Tooth brushing?

    Dr. Pepper?

    NASCAR?

Bob Dylan/Paul Simon/others and all the Jew Tunes?

    The English Leather Calendar Girls?

    Irish Spring?

    Seinfeld re-runs?

    Adding insult to injury:

Few biographical details are known about al-Khwarizmi's life. His popularizing treatise on algebra, compiled between 813 and 833 as Al-Jabr (The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing),[7]: 171  presented the first systematic solution of linear and quadratic equations. One of his achievements in algebra was his demonstration of how to solve quadratic equations by completing the square, for which he provided geometric justifications.[8]: 14  Because al-Khwarizmi was the first person to treat algebra as an independent discipline and introduced the methods of "reduction" and "balancing" (the transposition of subtracted terms to the other side of an equation, that is, the cancellation of like terms on opposite sides of the equation),[9] he has been described as the father[10][11][12] or founder[13][14] of algebra. The English term algebra comes from the short-hand title of his aforementioned treatise (الجبر Al-Jabr, transl. "completion" or "rejoining").[15] His name gave rise to the English terms algorism and algorithm; the Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese terms algoritmo; and the Spanish term guarismo[16] and Portuguese term algarismo, all meaning 'digit'.[17]

A lot of things we Californians do like about the local "mission"-era traditional architecture is Spanish, and it's less well known that it's an Andalusian, Moorish method of homebuilding, made for hot weather.

Tile in and out of the kitchen, stucco roofs, internal courtyards--none of this is indigenous European. Tiling helps keep insects out and is easier to clean. Even our heavy wire metal chairs are Moorish; Islamic design on Los Angeles patios.

    Credit where credit is due.
