Iran and Trump are negotiating.

Trump knows Iran lies about small things just for practice to improve their ability to lie about big things.

Trump knows Iran has every intention to cheat on any promise they make.

Iran knows that Mossad will continue to plot and plan for the regime’s destruction regardless of any agreement to the contrary.

The Iranian regime knows it will never be loved by the Iranian people or by its neighboring countries. It knows it must rule by fear, and only fear.

Both sides know that if the regime gives up what Trump demands:

Its nuclear program,
Its offensive missile and drone program,
Its threat to close/control the Strait of Hormuz...

then Iran’s neighbors will no longer fear them (but continue to hate them).

What no one knows is how the Iranian people will react to any “deal” that does not immediately set them free. No one knows if the people will continue to fear a regime that signs a surrender agreement.

While everyone knows Iran will cheat, when, how, and where the cheating will be detected is not known. How Trump and Israel will react to the cheating is unknown.

Most likely outcome: no deal. (Hopefully followed by a Mossad surprise.)

Second most likely outcome: a talking-points deal that fails to be finalized within the allotted time frame. (Then hopefully followed by a Mossad surprise.)

Third most likely outcome: a final deal that is significantly breached within 90 days. (Then hopefully followed by a Mossad surprise.)

Least likely outcome: a negotiated agreement that actually brings peace to the Middle East and freedom to the Iranian people.

I for one was totally outraged when our leaders stated they were willing to meet to negotiate with the Iranians in Qatar, and the Iranians agreed to it. Then our diplomats arrived at the agreed upon location, and Iran incinerated them with bombs!

Oh wait a second. That was us bombing their diplomats. <so never mind>

I did not see an American response among your listed outcomes. Only Mossad. Do you think we are done here?

I wish I had your optimism, considering how much leeway Trump gives to enemies lime China.

We are not done. We will be full partners with Israel. I am just giving the Mossad full credit for the plan (whatever it is).
