When the left loses an election, it tries to destroy the country; when it wins, it succeeds.

- Nancy Pearcey

One need only look at the two-year temper tantrum the US left has exhibited since the 2024 election to understand the wisdom of the first half of the quote. They have turned obstructionism into an art form, taking actions and positions which undermine the security and prosperity of the United States. Incarcerating violent criminals? Fuggetaboutit: That is what Trump wants to do, so no! Their judges do not rule on the merits of their cases, but rather what they feel the outcome should be. They are eventually overturned, but with every biased decision they chip away at the law's legitimacy.

One only has to look at what is going on in Great Britain, France, and major US cities controlled by the left to see the wisdom of the other half of this quote. The policies of Britain's socialist Labour government are destroying the country. Great Britain may be headed for dissolution, with Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland peeling off into independent nations. Perhaps Cornwall will follow. France has dissolved into chaos with leftist riots and a leftist government unwilling to stop them. In our own country, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City, all controlled by socialists—or, to be more precise, DSA communists—are headed to collapse, as are socialist Seattle and Portland. We discovered earlier this year that Minnesota's government is a crime cartel.

We have an election on November 3. To quote Barry Goldwater, we are offered a choice, not an echo. We can vote for Republicans and traditional American values, or we can vote for the now-Communist Democratic Party and the corruption and chaos that result whenever socialists take over. You may not like Donald Trump or some of the other Republican candidates, but as surely as the sun rises in the East, if the Democrats take over, the chaos of Los Angeles and New York City will spread over the rest of the country.

And provided with a mandate for reform, accountability, and integrity the Grifting Old Pissants held the President's agenda hostage to senseless war while stubbornly accomplishing little to run on. They are about to have their greedy, treasonous butts rightfully turned out. The Democrats will profit only briefly as new alternatives to the two-party clown car emerge.

Amusingly, the same Republicans that plotted to betray key elements of the Trump coalition also counted on their votes in places like Texas and Florida. The compromised "opposition" has dynamited their own foxholes.
