I think that many of us have a fantasy that if ever the levers of power are returned to the "Normals" that with a capitation strategy we can readily restore our culture. That is, we have often heard that the "rank and file" are just fine, it is leadership that is the problem. If so, change leadership -- in government, in education, in media -- and voila, problem solved.
Well, as time marches forward and more and more miseducated/indoctrinated souls populate all levels of society, this task may have become unmanageable. Are we there already? I don't know. It is only the ranking members in various organizations that are highlighted for their wokeism given their influence within the organization. I would love to believe the "silent (intimidated) majority" is still there just waiting to be able to express their normality again.
The only way to test the theory is to start/continue to be outspoken about "normal" positions and see how much flak we are getting. Only bullies want to provoke conflict, so it's understandable to be reluctant to publicly express "un-woke" thoughts simply to see the reaction. But it is necessary. Better to know, now, how hard the task is. Besides, think of how comforting it will be to find out there are many more "Normals" out there than you could have hoped for. And, if not, one can't start too early planning for the apocalypse.

I can't say I like this (having been raised Episcopalian where we don't confront each other on politics) but the time has come. And this echoes Bari Weiss's great speech to the Federalist Society: It is schmoes like us who are the last line of defense against the indoctrinated wokesters. Say nothing to contradict them, and they will take over every institution we have.
