Spring! In Stereo!

Spring seems a little late where I am. But there are calves in the fields and things are greening up, and I am ready for the change of seasons.

My little patch is cluttered and weedy, but I decided to capture some of the short-lived blossoms and blooms. After a while I realized that I have a nice collection of colorful and beautiful things. The closer one looks, the better the view.

Lilacs were here long before me. Each bush has a different shade of "lilac."

I planted this chokecherry tree about 10-12 years ago. It is finally large enough to provide some nice shade.

The blossoms are individually tiny, but beautiful.

I'm not sure if I planted these tulips or not. For a number of years there was only one bloom, so I'm thrilled to get a whole bouquet!

Cherry blossoms came a few weeks ago. It seemed cold for the bees to be out, but they were.

I planted some of these "I forget what they ares" years ago. Last year they really started to spread.

It's hard to get low enough for a good angle.

The bees really like the peach blossoms also, but wouldn't hold still to get their pictures taken.

I don't know what these bushes are along the back fence. They really need to be trimmed, but right now they are all that is holding the fence up.

Those pink buds open into these tiny, tiny flowers.

We've had a lot of wind, and it really beat up these tulips. But the missing petals allow light in to admire the stamens.

While looking at the images, cross your eyes and look "between" them. You will see multiple images - just focus on the middle one. You may be able to resolve a 3 dimensional image .
