Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
This, according to Our Betters who are supposed to know what words mean, was an “insurrection.”
Now look below. According to these self-same Masters of the Universe, this is not—repeat not—an “insurrection.” See if you can spot just a tiny little difference in these two scenes:
Before giving your answer—as there will be a test!—consider this Powerline article about the “peaceful assembly” in front of the White House:
Pro-Hamas protesters sought to rip down a reinforced fence outside the White House Saturday night. The assault on the White House constituted the culmination of their march. It looks something like what Democrats call an “insurrection” (video below). The New York Post reports:Non-essential personnel were evacuated from the area as a precaution as the aggressive demonstration ramped up, the Secret Service confirmed.
Video shows the crowd shaking the fence so viciously that a section of it became partially dislodged while a horde of Secret Service police pushed back to keep the ralliers from entering the grounds.
Some protesters hurled water bottles and the sticks broken off their Palestinian flags at the officers, while others tried to climb the fence.
“F–k Joe Biden!” the ralliers screamed.
“Break it down! You support the murder of children!”
The anti-scale fencing sustained some “temporary damage,” but the actual White House fence and adjacent buildings were left untouched, a Secret Service spokesperson told The Post.
“The issues were promptly repaired on site by U.S. Secret Service support teams,” said Lt. Paul Mayhair.
“As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed.”
For some reason: “No arrests were made.” Perhaps the authorities were busy defending the ramparts. Perhaps President Biden admires the “passion” of the protesters, or the “passion” of the “protesters.”
The Post headline and reporter Katherine Donlevy describe the “protesters” as “pro-Palestinian,” but they are pro-Hamas. They support a “ceasefire” and a return to the pre-October 7 status quo to assure the survival of Hamas.
Donlevy’s story also relates without reservation: “More than 23,800 people in Gaza — nearly two-thirds of whom are women and children — have been killed during Israel’s counterattack campaign, according to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-run territory.” The number is Hamas’s number because “the Health Ministry in the Hamas-run territory” is an arm of Hamas. Thus the “Health Ministry” offers no breakdown between Hamas combatants and civilians.
“No arrests were made.”
Those few words sum up the dangerously unequal system of justice which has been imposed on the Nation by this despicable “admininstration.”
“No arrests were made” although all non-essential personnel were evacuated from the White House property entirely.
If you’re still struggling with the question above, here is the simple answer—this is what you did not see in the “non”- insurrection:
But there were American flags as far as the eye could see during that real "insurrection” in which about 1200 of our fellow citizens were not only arrested, but tried, held without bail before trial; some were inexplicably put in solitary confinement, all but a tiny few were convicted by the “fair and impartial juries” of the District of Columbia; many were treated no better than animals, and some who were merely on the grounds of the Capitol are now in jeopardy of being arrested according to the bloodthirsty US Attorney in Washington.
But support the murderous barbarians of Hamas, damage property such as a huge, sturdy fence around the White House, cause the Secret Service to have to come out in force in riot gear, and show a sea of not American flags but the flags of Palestine and what do you get?
“No arrests were made.”
Does anyone seriously think one of these “peaceful” supporters—supporters of some kind of sub-human species of monsters who committed the kind of cruelty and barbarity we have all seen clear evidence of—will be arrested? Treated like the animals they so loudly and “peacefully” support, held without bail in the DC Gulag, subjected to solitary confinement and tried to almost certain conviction by a jury of their peers? (I may have to re-think this one as we are talking about many of the people in that scene at the White House!?) I have been accused of being “often wrong but never in doubt.” I could well be wrong this time. But I think it’s an odds-on favorite that this statement will remain true:
“No arrests were made.”
We keep saying Election Day cannot get here fast enough, and that is all well and good. However, assuming the very best possible outcome—President Trump is re-elected inaugurated in January of 2025—that still leaves almost an entire year to this pack of corrupt, ravenous, bloodthirsty savages to try to execute the destruction of the Nation we love and which we thought would last forever.
Too gloomy-doomy for you? Bear in mind these pro-rapists, pro-murderers, pro-torturers, pro-holders-of-many-hostages (many of whom are infants), are holding the same kind of “peaceable” assemblies all over the country. There will probably be as many arrests for these riots as there were for all the George Floyd/BLM/Antifa riots across the country, which were so important to Our Betters—social justice and diversity, equity, inclusion and all that other “woke” blather—that they granted them a complete pass from the otherwise Draconian restrictions imposed on churches and conservative gatherings... and us.
Next time some liberal loon wants to convince you that we still have Equal Justice Under Law just ask them when the Special Select Super Duper Extraordinary Hollywood Production Style Committee will be set up to investigate a riot which clearly threatened the well being and safety of workers who serve the President of the United States. And you might remind them of these words while you’re at it:
“No arrests were made.”
God Help Us.
And
God Bless America!

I'm only seeing one picture, but I'd say that using a single picture to characterize a complex event isn't compelling.

Just put in the video which was left out of the initial publication; maybe this will be a little more compelling. If not there are a million other images to illustrate quite clearly what went on and what is going on in our Nation which was founded on the doctrine of Equal Justice Under Law.

One difference I noticed is that they had actual security fencing around the White House and for the Fedsurrection they only had bicycle racks and snow fencing. It is clear that one event was meant to have a security breach.
