Four years ago today:
Of course, NPR was deeply embarrassed by this instance of gross journalistic malpractice. Steps were immediately taken to diversify its staffing and to ensure that its content and news coverage was more inclusive than stale output narrowly configured to affirm the zeitgeist of bubble-dwelling lefty twits. More diverse voices, hard-hitting stories about the adverse impact of Biden border policies, conservative think tank figures invited to debate the issue of the federal deficit, probing looks at urban political corruption, and insightful stories about the failure to do serious cost-benefit analyses of the New Green Deal were all made possible by this change of heart and rec0mmitment to professionalism in accordance with the charter and public purpose of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Or maybe none of that happened and they still cherish their bunker mentality and the narcissistic delusion that merely being smugly anti-conservative, anti-normal is the apex of enlightened thought and justification for substantive omissions and outright lies.

NPR's Terence Samuel to lead USA Today
Did Terry get docked the second 's' in his last name for booting the laptop story?

With a gazillion channels available over the air, by satellite, and online, do we really need public broadcasting anymore? I say sell them off and use the money to pay off the debt . . .

"Wait you believe the computer repair shop story? Like at face value?"
The best thing Trump did, above the peace and prosperity, was flushing out conservative pundits who didn't really believe what they were peddling.

A couple weeks ago on the local NPR outlet I heard two brain-dead bimbos on a show called 1a refer to the "alleged assassination attempts" against Trump. Is that some legal reason for the "alleged"? I doubt it.
