First they came for Mahmoud Khalil, and I said nothing because I thought it was a damn good idea. He is a citizen of Syria who came to America to get a college degree. After graduating he stayed in America to be a leader in a group dedicated to supporting Hamas by disrupting normal activities at Columbia University, threatening and harassing Jewish students. Hamas is an organization that deliberately seeks out and murders as many Jewish babies, infants, and toddlers as it can. They came to deport him. Not imprison him; not kill him. They came to give him a free plane ride back to his home country. For reasons unknown, Democrats are outraged.

Then they came for Kilmar Garcia (a.k.a. "Maryland Man"), and again I said nothing because it was a damn good idea. Mr. Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador who entered the USA illegally. He is also a member of a criminal gang known as MS-13. MS-13 murders people for fun and profit. An earlier attempt to deport Mr. Garcia was delayed by an immigration judge who was concerned that Mr. Garcia would be in danger if returned to El Salvador. This is due to rival gang enemies who wished him harm. They deported him anyway, perhaps by a paperwork mistake. Democrats are outraged again, for reasons unknown.

Next they came for others with MS-13 tattoos. Democrats are convinced that Trump is moving so fast to deport foreign gang members that innocent people must be getting swept up and deported by mistake. Democrats are particularly concerned for innocent people who happen to have tattoos that are gang-related. Apparently, Democrats have never spoken to anyone who knows anything about gang tattoos—you need permission to get a gang tattoo. It is a badge of honor that must be earned. If someone has an unauthorized gang tattoo, the gang will kill them. MS-13 has no American citizens as members. Wannabe members must earn membership by committing violent crimes. Deporting all MS-13 members appears to me to be a no-brainer. Again, for reasons unknown, Democrats are outraged.

Next they came for Tren de Aragua gang members. There is no dispute that they (1) entered the USA illegally, and (2) make their living by committing crimes. Democrats insist we slow things down to give each member a court hearing of some sort. Democrats are silent as to what evidence such people could possibly present at such a hearing that should prevent their deportation. Again, I am silent and my silence means approval.

Earlier on they came for USAID employees. Not to harm them, simply to fire them. They were spending billions of tax dollars promoting the political agenda of DEI and LGBTQ in foreign countries. Again, I said nothing because spending billions promoting DEI and LGBTQ overseas is wasteful and stupid. Being wasteful and stupid with billions of tax dollars should get you fired. Again, Democrats were outraged.

Next they came for overpaid bureaucrats installed by the Biden Administration in dozens of offices to instill DEI ideology throughout the federal government. After three years, their existence has proven to be an expensive waste of time and money at best, and a counterproductive force at worst. Once more, I was silent because the firings were long overdue. Again, the Democrats were outraged.

Then they came for the Department of Education. I was not silent that time. I cheered. Over fifty years of existence and not a single accomplishment of merit. The Democrats are, of course, outraged, but they are unable to articulate a single accomplishment we will miss when the department is gone.

Next they arrested people who vandalized other people’s cars. This time the Democrats sat silent because they quietly approved of the vandalism.

Then they canceled the Social Security numbers of millions of illegal aliens who never should have received them in the first place. Again I cheered. Again the Democrats howled in anguish.

This country now has over 20 million illegal immigrants. This country is currently paying interest on a debt that increases at a rate of over a trillion a year, with the total now standing at over 36 trillion. Cutting waste, fraud, and abuse is the easy part. Deporting migrant felons is the easy part. Doing the easy stuff will not be enough. There are hard choices ahead, and the Democrats have made it crystal clear they will be of no help whatsoever.

There are some who are convinced that without the DOE that poor minority students will not get good educations. They need to check in with Thomas Sowell.

    You're right.

I just don't understand the thinking of the Democrats here. It makes no sense.

Unless their goal is to destroy America.

I think until the 1960s we were diligent in efforts to honor the Constitution and not put our government policy in the hands of Communists. Things have changed since then. 1960 to 1980 might have been just a soft period when we were working very hard to implement actions designed to correct failures from the first half of the century generally related to unlawful discrimination and unlawful treatment of various classes and groups of people. Since 1980, There have been domestic movements detached from the principles of America's founding and encouraged, facilitated, and financially supported by the Chinese Communists Party (CCP). These movements have been primarily directed at hollowing out out productive will and capacity that weakens American leadership in the world. We have seen this pushed by politicians of both major political parties with serious ill effects in education, manufacturing, energy production and development of other natural resources, medicine, food, and overall quality of life for working class people.

I see this happening but I don't really know what is behind it. I have suspicions but if I go too deeply into the explanations I get accused of nefarious behavior It is there for the emerging generations of American to address. I think the slant is essentially Communist and not supportive of the individual liberty Americans were given at the founding.
