If you are like me, you have been seeing news stories about Ian Andre Roberts, the illegal alien who was working as the superintendent of a school system in Iowa. A brief refresher from DHS:
“ICE Des Moines arrested Ian Andre Roberts, a criminal illegal alien from Guyana in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a fixed blade hunting knife. At the time of his arrest, Roberts was working as the Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools despite being an illegal alien with a final order of removal and no work authorization.
During a targeted enforcement operation on Sept. 26, 2025, officers approached Roberts in his vehicle after identifying himself, but he sped away. Officers later discovered his vehicle abandoned near a wooded area. State Patrol assisted in locating the subject and he was taken into ICE custody.
Roberts has existing weapon possession charges from February 5, 2020. Roberts entered the United States in 1999 on a student visa and was given a final order of removal by an immigration judge in May of 2024.”
Roberts lied about his academic background and was apparently never adequately vetted by the school board that hired him.
Now we have the news that Roberts voted while living in Maryland and claimed US citizenship on his voter application. The voter registration board only released the unredacted documents under the threat of a lawsuit. https://foxbaltimore.com/station/share/maryland-releases-unredacted-voter-records-of-ex-iowa-superintendent-amid-legal-push-illegal-immigrant-ian-andre-roberts
To me, this story has it all in one place. A criminal illegal alien working in full view (what happened to hiding in the shadows?). Illegal voting and the responsible agency trying its best to hide the records. Please stop telling me that we have had free and fair elections in recent years. So many pathologies of the left are rarely so openly on display in one place. The photo is from the linked voting story.

Among them that the school board that approved hiring him consisted entirely of AWFLs (Affluent White Female Liberals) who were swept up in the thrill of hiring a person who checked all the DEI boxes.

It’s amazing, isn’t it? I can’t find the story but I’m pretty sure the board president started by trying to back him up but that position became untenable. That the Maryland board of elections tried to hide his illegal voting is what really made me realize just how revealing this story is.

Pronounced awful, I hope, and doesn't mean what that word meant pre-18th century.

Thanks you, Joe Biden . . .

A few years ago South Bend Schools hired a superintendent who is gay. The Board broke their arms patting themselves on the back for their bold and courageous move. A couple years later, with growing evidence of major corruption coming to light, he headed off to Arizona with a quarter million exit settlement. He has been, will soon be, fired from his new superintendent position. That's DEI for you.
