Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
How do you defend a very good, conservative project like Heritage’s much-maligned Project 2025? With the truth. Heritage paid for polling of likely voters in battleground states. First, they asked voters to see how they plan on voting. It shows the near 50/50 country. After all those questions, the pollsters asked a question about each Project 2025 issue without linking it to the project. They found overwhelming support for each issue.
Here is the article:

Here is Project 2025. I keep it and Ricochet open all the time on my IPad (you can also link to it in the article):
Here are a few tidbits, but read and bookmark the article:
The Harris campaign and the liberal establishment have worked feverishly in recent months to mischaracterize the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 as regressive, weird, and authoritarian. This attack campaign, which has involved falsely ascribing various unpopular proposals like suspending democracy and banning no-fault divorce to the conservative initiative, has proven largely effective at rendering the Project 2025 brand radioactive ahead of the election … Hundreds of conservative groups, policy wonks, and scholars got to work in 2022 drafting a plan on how the next president could effectively "take down the Deep State and return the government to the people." … The book had 400 authors, the group has over 110 organization, and it's really a full menu of the conservative movement," added the spokesman. …. "We did this for Trump in 2016, and he took a lot of them. We did this for Bush — didn't take as many of them. And a lot of people don't know this, but we did this for Reagan in 1981." … Leftists and establishmentarians in the American media have also done their best to smear the conservative initiative. …. The Economist conducted a survey earlier this month, finding that 15% of respondents said they had a favorable opinion of Project 2025, 46% signaled disfavor, and 39% said they didn't know. Whereas 50% of likely Harris voters said they had heard a lot about the project, only 16% of likely Trump supporters said the same.
It is a rather long article but well worth your time. The project is a conservative policy roadmap. We need to learn who the authors and groups are to know who the real conservatives are. I wonder why the Bush team didn't embrace as many of the ideas, or do I need to wonder? Even though the Democrats have gotten a head start with their lies, those lies have given us fodder to prove they are liars, if only the Trump team and we voters embrace this gift. That is why I keep the document open, and why I now will keep the poll results open on my iPad. Also, the Democrat gaslighting and lies worked because the media helped spread them, proving once again they are the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. If we are to retain our freedoms, voters must become smarter and do better.

Project 2025 has been turned into an international boogeyman.
I called a UK attorney to discuss a mutual client's "Project Herring"[not real name]. At one point the he identified a couple other projects by "Project" codename and made a comment "... as long as it's not Project 2025."

I think Trump made a mistake in how he responded to the left's gaslighting. He should have replied with such comments like, “ Since the left has complained so much about it I decided to check it out for myself. There are a lot of good ideas in that. Who doesn't want to secure our borders?”
Also, consider that your European client did read Project 2025 and was against its conservative platform.

That's a heavy lift. Most GOP politicians are terrible at messaging. I am not sure why. A few experts at the GOP could craft standard responses and distribute. There is a power in repeating messaging. To change the culture and 350 million minds it takes a *lot* of repetition. The Project2024 and the GOP should message on "government needs to be efficient in delivering services" and "government should serve the needs of the citizens". Simple and hard to disagree with. Instead, it is almost like the GOP National Party is intentionally incompetent.

Part of the problem is we are the party of freedom while they are the authoritarian party. As such, our people in government are less engaged in propaganda and less hands on re government while the left relies heavily a propaganda and central government control over our lives. They must use propaganda to hide what they really want to do so they have become quite skilled at it. Having taken over education and the press has helped them.

I doubt he read it. My guess is the mainstream English language media* there has been hyping it as the modern day version of Mein Kampf without publicizing much content.
*Some non-English UK media outlets might say it's the modern day version of the very genuine Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
