Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
A WSJ story Saturday described the awful torment of girls in a co-ed high school when the boys applied AI to photographs of the girls fully clothed... and produced and shared nude photos of their classmates.
Now, I remember being 14 or 15 years old. And I have had quite a few teenage boys living under my roof. And I can tell you right now that there is no way to put the genie back in the bottle. Fifteen-year-old boys have no moral code (especially when alone and bored), and they know what they want to see. Self-control? Puh-lease.
Nevertheless, something must be done. Having naked photos of you on the internet and available to friends and teachers and parents is horrible, affecting every facet of your life. Even if they are not real.
Here's my solution: bring back single-sex education for 7th-10th grades (and maybe through high school). Separate boys and girls at this most irresponsible and fragile age range.
Does anyone have a better idea?

Not possible. There's at least 107 "genders" and We can't even define "boys" or "girls."

Some of these people must be underage. Throw AI/ChatGPT in prison for that.

Teach the girls to photoshop the boys' faces into gay porn stills.

There are countless AI services out there. The genie is out.

I think it would be good to have options like that. I don't think it would be a solution, mainly because I don't believe there are solutions (except on the chemistry bench). It might help, though.
