A few years back, I responded to a domestic violence murder in which an estranged husband shot his two children and his soon-to-be ex-wife, and then himself. In the months after the event, the murderer's father (who, by the way, had provided his "prohibited person" son with a shotgun) lamented that there were two sides to every story. It ought not to be forgotten, he stated, that the now-dead woman had made her own contribution to the breakdown of communication, the broken family (I don't recall any comment about his now-dead grandchildren's share of blame).
The answer---too obvious, even, to bother uttering---is that murdering the wife and kids is pretty much slam-dunk proof of who was the problem in the relationship.
Like the abusive, manipulative, mendacious spouse it so often resembles, the left is now scrambling to "both-sides" political violence. They claim Republicans are overreacting, and overlooking the provocative contribution Charlie Kirk made to Our Toxic Culture.
Sorry. Our guy---Charlie Kirk ---communicated non-violently, honestly and respectfully. Your guy murdered him. Your side excused or even celebrated his act, and fair-minded Americans who heretofore reflexively looked for two sides in every story have now been given slam-dunk proof of which side is the problem in America's fracturing domestic relationship.

This should seem so odd and out of place here and today. And yet it's not.

Not only did Charlie Kirk always debate or lecture in a non-violent mode, he ordinarily accompanied any remarks or commentary with his supporting belief in the word of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ noting that Christianity is the preeminent source of principles of peace in the world today.
There is absolutely no basis in fact for any views to the contrary.
