Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
Dublin just erupted in rioting, looting, and arson after three children and two adults were stabbed outside a school. The Guardian, Al Jazeera, AP, and the BBC ran almost identical stories that left the reader baffled as to why a “right-wing” mob would spontaneously riot.
It takes some digging to discover what went unmentioned in the MSM: the unnamed, undescribed stabber with unclear motives is reportedly an older Algerian immigrant. The riot involved an attack and arson directed at a Holiday Inn the Irish government turned into immigrant housing near the stabbing site.
Even if the perception of the mob proves to be entirely wrong, the fact that this issue has many on a hair-trigger ought to be diagnostic.
The normals who reside in Western countries appear to be reaching a breaking point (see the Dutch election results yesterday) while the elites continue to double down on the destruction of their own nations out of a strange mix of ideology, narcissism, and class-malice, with cover provided by an unconscionably biased monolithic news media. This cannot end well.

"We need to look for the root cause except when the root cause is our idiot government."

Or even simpler, "when the root cause is inconvenient."

I did a quick scan of some of the sources you cited along with a few others and while I do not claim my research was exhaustive- probably not even fair to call what I did research- it appeared to me that the "right wing ideology" comment was in one of the early statements by the Chief of Police and then simply copied by all the subsequent publications. I could not find a single piece of evidence that "right wing ideology" had anything to do with the initial stabbing incident and I also could not find any real description of the "hooligans" who started setting fires and injuring passersby after the initial incident. I did see one fairly recent video above which was the caption:
Police urge public not to listen to 'misinformation and rumour'
Perhaps, and clearly I do not see any evidence to support the following, this is a sign that the officials are trying to "revise" those earlier reports. Also, we are left with no clarity as to whether the first reports were about the 40 year old Algerian immigrant who was in the inital stabbing incident or the following attacks by the "hooligans." By the way, as someone who has recently been revisiting the horrible miscarriage of justice involving Derek Chauvin and the 2020 Minneapolis riots after the George Floyd death, the scenes from those riots and those from Dublin tonight are virtually indistinguishable. Does it make one a conspiracy theorist to wonder if the world is slowly but surely losing its mind?

Minneapolis? Chicago? Washington? Seattle "Summer of Love"? No - Dublin hours ago.

1. I strongly suspect that if the attacker was a blue-eyed ("right-wing") Irishman, his identity would have been disclosed right away.
2. "Right-wing" is a standard epithet against anyone not thrilled with open borders. Some nativist leaders did make social media statements that were clearly effective in building the mob.
3. Once a large segment of the non-elite population believes the system actively inhibits their material and social progress and sees the police not as protectors but as instruments of the oppressors, bad outcomes accrue. Marginalized men, under-or unemployed watching industry leave, communities decay and ungrateful illegals taking away what remains are unlikely to develop abiding loyalty to governments ruled by rich guys in Davos.
