Trump pulled off a positive photo op, so McDonald's must be punished for permitting it. USA Today has thus been on the case for days!! Three cheers for Priorities! Huzzah, Professionalism!

    The Left has hated McDonalds for decades. Remember Fast Food Nation? Remember Super Size Me? Remember the sacrilegious paintings of Chris Woods?

    They're simply seizing on an opportunity.

    (What really galls me is how the Left attacks Trump for supporting the exact same sort of policies that they promoted back in the 1990s and early 2000s. They're the ones that railed against the "invisible costs" of importing cheap goods from China. They're the ones that railed against "American military imperialism". They're the ones that railed against NAFTA killing Michigan's auto industry. Etc. etc. etc.)

    It was a letter signed by her, Durbin and Casey (in whose state the evil event transpired) demanding financial info and pricing methodology and whether McD's fat cat execs and large shareholders were squeezing the little guy.

    The notion that inflation is just a conspiracy by corporate America is cherished by this group.

    I haven't seen this level of anguished pushback since the Willie Horton ad in 1988 or the swiftboat stories in 2004.
