Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
If you don't know what's sus and who's got rizz and what "skibidi" means, then you probably also don't know about 6-7. It's one of the things the kids are saying these days.
I'm still relieved it doesn't mean anything bad. But I've also joined the kids in finding it hilarious and saying it sometimes. The thing about 6-7 is . . . it doesn't mean anything! Or does it? This looks like a case for philosophy! Or maybe it's a case for forgetting the whole thing.
Either way, I tried out the philosophy of 6-7. And it could be better--it could have been Augustine and Kierkegaard instead of Kierkegaard and Heidegger. But it also could have been a lot worse. If you disagree with my speculation, well, carry on. Perhaps we'll discuss in comments. But first I say unto you . . .
. . . 6-7!

Meanwhile, a short on Aristotle seems to be more popular at 230-plus views. But its average view time is only 20 seconds. Sheesh.

He'd get more views if he hired a hot babe in a revealing halter top that described this points while applying make up. Millions of views. Easy engagement. 6-7. Don't need Aristotle for that. When you give a talk looking like an ordinary middle aged guy who just rolled out of bed with coffee, saying the exact same material then you don't need philosophy to understand why only 230 people viewed it. And since it is so short a number of those might be repeat views to review what he actually said by philosophic minded individuals.

New kids in the background? Your presentation was entirely clear, even though I never heard of 6-7 before this and still have no idea what it is.

Me, middle-aged already? Good.
Coffee? Heavens! I only drink tea.
Exact same as Aristotle? Well, I certainly hope so.
Exactly same as everyone else who talks about Aristotle? Well, I certainly hope not. Most people botch that stuff. [Grumble, grumble.]

I only have the same 8.
But I'm at a charter school now and it's filled with kids who are new to me.
The 8th Graders are all over the 6-7.
It's a thing they say, with hand motions. It has an unimportant origin story the internet can tell you about, but it doesn't mean anything. And it's still funny.
