Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.
I just found out this morning that some new cars that have a digital instrument panel will display a message on the screen when you shut off the engine. I don't remember the exact wording of the one I saw, but it was something like, "Check Back Seat for Occupants." Probably not a bad idea, since very occasionally, someone will forget they've got a sleeping baby in the back, and the baby or toddler suffers heat stroke or even dies by the time someone realizes that he or she is still in the car.
I told my wife that cars should have a special startup message for Tennessee drivers. I suggest, "How about we use those turn signals today?" My wife suggested, "Don't throw your trash out the window." I love my new home state and wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but those two behaviors annoy me.
If you could designate a startup message for the drivers in your state, what would it be?

For the sake of readers who don't know you, everyone should specify which state they're talking about.

I'm kind of an impatient driver.
