Peptides are amino acids that are used to issue instructions to the body's various systems. Ozempic, Mounjaro and Retatrutide are all peptides. These GLP-1s have a ridiculous number of things they do in terms of measurable results of reduction: cancer rates, strokes, heart attacks, diabetes, obesity, even aging. Some countries are considering making GLP-1s available to all (not just the obese or diabetic) because of these benefits.

There are a host of other things that "biohackers" are injecting. I am posting this here because I think anyone with knee or joint pain would do well to check out BPC-157. I have personal knowledge of people who have cured chronic knee pain with 1-3 injections of the peptide. Old muscle pain? Totally fixable with a trivial injection.

Any search on X will show a host of other peptides in the market, offering or suggesting help for a huge range of maladies. Memory loss? Check. Big drug companies are working on peptides for cancers. Some peptides give you a tan, others are key ingredients in skin rejuvenation (potentially making the Botox world a dead end in human anti-aging treatments). There are peptides in development to cure myopia, and even regrow the optic nerve! Things that we knew could not be done are being done. The peptides can tell the body to do something in old age that it usually would only do at a much earlier (or even foetal) stage of development.

None of the non-GLP-1 peptides (as far as I know) is FDA-approved. Most of them probably never will be, because there is no financial incentive to jump through the hoops for something that cannot be patented and which can be purchased inexpensively.

I know that many people who believe that nature should not be messed with will advise healthy living (and dying). I do not share the philosophical love of a nature that does not care if I live or die. I want to get as much done as I can while I live, and to do it with as few physical distractions and limitations as possible. So I am enthusiastic about the peptide revolution.

Here is one post providing more detail and color:

In February 2026, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that approximately 14 of the 19 peptides restricted under the FDA's Category 2 compounding list would be moved toward reclassification. The FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee is scheduled to formally review them on July 23-24 of this year. If approved, peptides like BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, KPV, and MOTS-C could become legally available through licensed compounding pharmacies with physician prescriptions for the first time since restrictions began. BPC-157 — a peptide derived from human gastric juice — has shown remarkable preclinical results in tissue repair, gut lining restoration, angiogenesis, and anti-inflammatory signaling. Animal models demonstrate accelerated healing of tendons, ligaments, muscles, and intestinal tissue. The anecdotal reports from physicians and patients are compelling — soft tissue injuries resolving faster, chronic gut issues improving, systemic recovery that's difficult to explain by placebo alone. TB-500 — thymosin beta-4 — promotes cell migration, reduces inflammation, and supports cartilage and tendon repair. When stacked with BPC-157, the combination is the most discussed regenerative protocol in longevity medicine right now. GHK-Cu — a copper peptide — shows anti-aging, antioxidant, and tissue-remodeling properties in preclinical studies. Skin, hair, and wound healing applications. Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 — growth hormone secretagogues that stimulate natural GH pulses rather than flooding the system with exogenous hormone. Sleep quality, recovery, body composition, and muscle preservation are the reported benefits. KPV — an anti-inflammatory peptide showing promise for gut inflammation, immune modulation, and conditions where standard anti-inflammatories have failed.

Feel free to PM me if you want to know more about what I know.

Very interesting. Speaking as an old guy with little to lose, if something claims it can help me accomplish more in the 16.4 years Social Security says I have left, I'm interested.

However, the anti-big-drug talk illuminates some red warning lights. I am not going to get razzledazzled by the latest thing, and I ingest nothing that has not come from a pharmacist or drugstore supplement shelf. Three friends have lost kids to fentanyl and I'm not risking it.

I have been blessed with excellent tolerance to my cancer therapy, and I'm not screwing it up. A doctor (physician assistant, actually) talked me into trying something that he said wasn't an SSRI. When I told him I reacted badly to SSRIs in the past he pooh-poohed me. After two weeks of hell, I told him I was stopping it so I could get my brain back, whether he liked it or not.

Everyone on my oncology team listens to me, respects what I tell them, and gives me answers and options I can trust. My GP, not so much. I am perfectly willing to believe that you know more than I do about medicine...that's why I'm here. But I know more about this body I'm driving around than you do.

The GLP-1s are all from Big Drug. They work. I am not against Big Pharm. I am realistic that when a man holds a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. Peptides may lead to a reduction in replacement knees, for example. Cui bono?

    Ask them about this?

Real-world data shows that GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1s) may reduce metastatic progression of certain obesity-related cancers, namely lung, breast, colorectal, and liver cancers. In addition, GLP-1 receptor (GLP-1R) expression was associated with overall survival, suggesting that GLP-1 signaling could be involved in the progression of these cancers. ... For 4 of the 7 cancer types—lung, breast, colorectal, and liver—people who took GLP-1s were 38% to 50% less likely to develop stage IV cancer than people who took gliptins.

Actually, many of the future peptide therapies will likely be patented- b/c they will contain alterations that make administration easier ( ie by mouth rather than injection), or prolong the effect, or the delivery system, or a special manufacturing process, etc. This is clearly seen in the existing GLP-1s.

Be very careful with the current wave of grey market peptides that online influencers are promoting-there are almost no human studies (particularly good ones) and there are legitimate concerns (such as tumor promoting properties). Additionally, they are typically made in unlicensed Chinese factories and we all know how trustworthy the Chinese medical establishment is…..they denied human transmission of COVID until AFTER it had spread to all 34 provinces in China from 1 city.

With the revelation that the US has indeed been funding countless biolabs around the world to make diseases worse, I hardly have more trust for the US government.

My supplier has given me good stuff that works. I have used Tirzepatide, Retatrutide, and BPC-157 with fantastic results. Considering MOTS-C and others. The good resellers post test results from third-party labs for each batch.

the biolabs conspiracy is boob bait for the credulous.....they weren't bioweapons labs-and Gabbard has said as much in the past.

The labs were legal and for 2 purposes:

    (1) part of a global system of labs to research & prevent outbreaks of diseases...like anthrax & bubonic plague- which are endemic to regions around Ukraine....you know the Black Plague came to Europe from what was (up until the Russian invasions) Ukrainian territory. The US has the Agricultural Research Service labs-supports more than 2,000 scientists and post docs working on approximately 690 research projects within 15 National Programs at more than 90 research locations.

You might not believe it but infections from other countries just might-theoretically-cause problems in the USA....like COVID perhaps?

    (2) part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency- a program dating from 1998 (actually from the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction Ac of 1991) to dispose of the WMDs-atomic & bioweapons material left over after the dissolution of the USSR. Thousands of atomic weapons were dismantled-thousands.

These are the labs that have generated much of the hype- but the true concern is not that they conduct dangerous research- but that damage form the war might release some of the items they are working to dispose of.

Just the example of the work done by these labs-in one former USSR nation: The US sent "nearly 700 emergency response items to help guarantee safe and secure transportation of nuclear weapons" to Belarus for the aid of the elimination of nuclear weapons in this country. Aren't you glad that Lukashenko doesn't have thousands of nukes??? You might have forgotten but after the Soviet empire collapsed 30,000 nuclear weapons were spread across 4 sovereign states-as well as 40,000 tons of chemical weapons.

Weapons deactivated and destroyed under this program include:

    • 537 ICBMs
    • 459 ICBM silos
    • 11 ICBM mobile missile launchers
    • 128 bombers
    • 708 nuclear air-to-surface missiles
    • 408 submarine missile launchers
    • 496 submarine-launched missiles
    • 27 nuclear submarines
    • Secure transportations of Libya's nuclear materials
    • 5,500 tons of chemical weapons at ONE site in Russia
    • Secured 10 chemical weapons sites and destroyed more than 4,700 tons of chemical weapons agent originating in Albania, Libya, Russia, and Syria;
