Empower is a whistleblower group and they have the sworn statement of an FBI agent who stated that Deputy Director Abbate told the 56 field offices in a Secure Video TeleConference (SVTC) that any criticism of the FBI's handling of J6 would not be tolerated. Here is the meat of the affidavit:

I saw this Xeet recently and that is what started this post, but from last night to today I saw the above information and combined with this:

It paints a picture that I increasingly do not like. Much has been said by the constitutionalists that the rank and file of the FBI are "good people™" and that it is just a few bad apples at the top that are messing up the FBI. That may be true, but when they are actively pushing out anyone who disagrees with them, then the FBI becomes a partisan weapon—though it appears the FBI was that already. One problem that the GOP and conservatism have faced for decades is that the left owns the bureaucracy and, as a result, they tend to slow-walk any changes and reforms when the GOP is in charge, while whole-heartedly supporting and enacting Democratic reforms.

As a result, the bureaucracy has become a political weapon wielded by the left. This is one thing that I think Vivek Ramaswamy had right in his campaign. He maintained that the goal was to get rid of most of the bureaucracy. I fully support this and would love to see a ten-year limit on gov't service to prevent entrenched bureaucrats from being able to build empires and undermine conservative reform.

When the FBI sees support for a major political candidate as a security risk, then the FBI needs to be eradicated and broken up into two groups. One would be the police entity— we have the US Marshall Service that can perform those duties. The other is domestic intelligence/counter-intelligence which can be a much smaller Bureau— if we even decide that we don't have a dozen other groups already doing that work.

Disgusting. There seems to be no end to the damage that the FBI can do.

There is no end to the damage the left can and will do. Wasn't the name of one of the evil organizations in a Bond movie "Chaos"? That is what the left wants.

It was “Get Smart,” Mel Brooks’ Bond parody. The organization was K.A.O.S..

Get Deputy Director Abbate to regale us with tales of all of the investigations and convictions his application of "all appropriate resources" led to after the Summer of 2020 riots – or find another job.

A comment from someone that I saw on a YouTube video a while back, and saved:

It's always worth remembering that the actual saying is "one bad apple spoils the barrel". It's supposed to be a metaphor about how if you don't remove corrupt individuals, they'll quickly corrupt everyone around them! And yet somehow it's become a cliche used to downplay concerns about systematic corruption.

When you find "a few bad apples", it's a warning sign that the rest of the apples are rotting too.
