If I may be permitted to join the gobsmacked chorus of astounded political observers . . .

So, after the entire nation endured what felt like endless days, waiting on tenterhooks and with bated breath to see who Kamala would pick for her vice president, the time finally arrived. And who was it? None other than . . . are you ready? . . . wait for it . . .

Tim Walz!

Well, whoopee, hallelujah, and . . . Who the hell is that?

Well, if you live in Minnesota, you know all too well who that is: It’s your lunatic Marxist governor — and he has a resume straight out of the bowels of hell. Seriously, this guy is a Marxist destroyer par excellence. Here are just a few of his “accomplishments” and positions:

He destroyed Minnesota.

Oh, do I need to be more specific? Okay. He let Minneapolis burn for George Floyd and expressed optimism going forward now that “equity” was being dealt with. He loves abortion until birth, and perhaps beyond. He’s a climate change nut and zero fossil fuel emissions guy in one of the coldest states in the country — bundle up, comrades! He’s for driver’s licenses and free college tuition for illegal aliens. He put tampons in boys’ school bathrooms and made Minnesota a sanctuary state for transgender surgeries for children. He turned Minnesota into North Korea during COVID — though, to be fair, so did most governors. He loves diversity and thinks it’s enriching to bring in endless hordes from third-world hellholes like Somalia.

I could go on, but what’s the point? Enough’s enough.

And, by the way, he was reelected in 2022. Phew! Let that sink in.

This guy, this Tim Walz, has taken his state from “Minnesota nice” to Malevolence on the Mississippi. Hey, I wonder what Trump’s nickname will be for him. “Terrible Timmy”? “BLM Tim”? “Minnesota Mao”?

Seriously, Kamala, is this VP choice just a troll? Are we getting punked? Usually, a VP pick is designed to balance a ticket in some way, not run it headlong off a cliff by insulting every remaining rational American on every level. Are you for real? Yes, yes, we understand you couldn’t pick Shapiro. This wouldn't do because your base wants the destruction of Israel, roots for Islamic terrorists, and wouldn’t put up with a Jew in the administration for five seconds. We get all that.

But Walz? There was nobody else?

So, will this guy help sink the Democrat ticket in November, or . . .

Or am I thinking about this all wrong? In other words, will he be poised for the presidential nomination himself in ‘32 after Kamala serves eight years? Which is another way of asking: Has America already too far gone to be saved?

Stay tuned!

Can only be one of two possibilities: Democrats either think they have this one bagged already (through their ballot control and lawfare, I presume), or Trump has such a lead they are just flushing this one while they figure out how to deal with him and the future.

Or, maybe they just figure they have it covered either way. You know, the long game.

    Who the hell is that?

I think this is the Harris strategy. No policies. No interviews. No name recognition. She is using the "Hope and Change" slogan updated to "Joy and Progress". It will be hard to pull off, because Obama was a talented speaker and McCain was the wrong guy with the wrong economy at the wrong time. Harris does have ubiquitous media propaganda, corrupt voting, and help from China to balance out her lack of talent. This election will be a referendum on the idea of elections.

I am very relieved she picked a candidate that shows her true colors....

Or maybe it’s the VP insurance policy. Joe picked the only viable candidate slower than himself, and she’s picking a candidate more progressive than she is.

I don't know if that really works in this case but I do realize the impossibility of her finding a VP who is more inept than she is..
