Serendipity factors in a great deal in capturing just the right moment or scene. I have a Canon digital camera and a zoom lens packed away in a closet that I hardly use anymore, and a tripod that's in a pouch in my garage. My photos taken in England were taken with a lightweight 8-megapixel Fujifilm camera with a built-in zoom. Most of the time now, I use the camera on my iPhone 15 Pro Max if I happen upon something extraordinary. Again, sometimes one just gets lucky. Here are some of my lucky shots.
I know I'm not the only one here who shoots or dabbles in photography. @RichardEaston, for example, has captured some spectacular scenic shots. If you have some photos you'd like to share, hit us with your best shots.

Bravo!
Love the B&W. It's a totally different, and largely lost art form. With color photography, it's so hard to see anything but the color, but there can, and should be, so much more.
My recently - deceased brother became yearbook photographer in high school. Carting around the school's camera (was it a Speed Graphic? It took 620 B&W film), haunting the sidelines at sporting events, taking shots of the architecture & fountains around campus, I don't know what all. Then with little training he developed professional - level darkroom techniques. Unfortunately, he lost interest after graduation, and apart from what made the yearbook, little remains.

The clouds! I love the clouds! All very elegant and collected. And I love the clouds. And bricks.
