I was wandering around YouTube yesterday, as I am wont to do, when I came across the Real Clear Politics podcast and decided to give it a listen. The three hosts (Tom Bevan, Carl Cannon & Andrew Walworth) discussed an article in The Atlantic about how several members of the Trump Administration were currently living on military bases due to the many threats of physical violence against them by left-wingers.
Although I was and am well aware that there have been ongoing threats of violence by the left against numerous members of the Trump administration since day one, I didn't know until now that it had reached the point that people needed to live at a military base in order to ensure their and their family's physical safety. This really is a telling situation, given that the administration has made it a point so far to not publicize this disturbing fact. (For the record, here is the Atlantic article. The American Greatness website picked up this article, and here is their story on it.)
According to the article, the Trump officials who are now residing at military facilities include Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and Trump's Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller— there are others who go unnamed. I was also aware before this that "Border Czar" Tom Homan was not living at home with his family due to the many threats he has received.
I appreciate that the left-wing Atlantic published this article, in part because I hope it indicates that they must have some qualms about the many incidents of actual violence and threats of violence by people on their side of the aisle. That said, the article is somewhat smarmy and subtly blames the victims for their current circumstances more than once. Alas, that is probably about the best that can be hoped for from a left-wing publication.
One part of the article that struck me was the news of an organization in the toney neighborhood in Arlington, VA, where the Millers lived, called Arlington Neighbors United for Humanity (ANUFH). Its members have made it known to the Millers in no uncertain terms that their kind is not, nor ever will be, accepted in their nice neighborhood of uniformly nice people. Note this is an upper-middle-class neighborhood of very successful people (the Millers have put their six-bedroom house on the market for $3.5 million). I am sure they consider themselves to be, and are, part of the nation's elite. Yet they are unable to just live and let live with the one neighbor they disagree with politically.
It will be interesting to see if any (or how many) of the legacy media decide to cover this story, and, if so, what their take on it will be. I can say with assurance, if the shoe had been on the other foot — if officials in a Democratic administration had found it necessary to move to military facilities to ensure their safety — this would be the top story for days. And Republicans would be the clear villains.

I think based on where all indicators say funding has been coming from for the violent rioting, it is likely that we will see some serious incidences along the lines of what is described in this article. Those behind this don't care what happens to the American nation.
I also think we have supporters for this kind of action in all branches of the federal government and they are often in positions to aid and abet these activities. So we are in for some seriously bad business.

Don't know about the Legacy Media, but Politico ran much the same story. They beefed theirs up in terms of making Republicans sound shady and casting blame on the recipients of some pretty creepy and threatening behavior.
If only we would shut up and do everything they want this wouldn't happen. Thankfully, this crud makes people run away from the D party.

Yes, thankfully, President Trump sets a good example.

My guess would be a Democrat Administration would launch all out investigations and put in prison anyone who threatened them from the Right before they ever needed to move to a military base.
For example, look what was done to the old, obese Utah man who was shot to death in his own home, his body was then dragged outside and left there for most the day.
The Trump administration members likely don't have the full support of the system making them more vulnerable.

Yes, I live not far from where that happened. I criticized that action at the time because it was evident that the individual could have been easily peacefully detained by local law enforcement for questioning and appropriate followup action by federal authorities but they sent an early morning FBI SWAT team to set an example.
