John Yoo hosts this week's 500th episode of the Power Line family of podcasts, which turns out to have a common theme: dance steps. Kamalamadingdong (someone's—I won't say who but you can guess—new nickname for the Dem nominee) thinks she can Walz to the White House with a progressive twin, while the Olympics is trying to dance away from its cultural travesties with. . . break dancing?? Boeing is trying to dance around its DEI problems, and the stock market is suddenly doing the two-step around weakening economic signals, and the Biden foreign policy team is slow-waltzing us into a geopolitical dead-end in Ukraine and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Trump is keeping everyone, friend and foe alike, hopping in 6/7 time with his usual improvisations.

If DEI were such a GREAT IDEA from the Left why are they NOT bragging about and pointing to Kamala as THE success story that makes their enlightened policy the way to go?

Thanks for mentioning Willy Horton....99.99% of even political junkies still think it was a GHWB 'dirty trick' when in fact it was initially discovered and used by Al Gore's oppo research and an independent group recycled it, not the Bush Campaign.

Correct! I didn't have time in the fast-moving show to mention that Gore had first brought it up in the primaries (New York I think). Likewise. Jerry Brown brought up Hillary's corrupt law practice in debate with Clinton, and we know how that later went, too.

I was glad to hear Lucretia’s take on all these ‘Kamala leading’ polls and stories, I remember Rush used to say the purpose of much of the news is simply to demoralize the right.
