Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.

The left was already hysterical ever since Trump won a second term, but this week the left had a total meltdown after the Supreme Court scaled back racial gerrymandering under the Voting Rights Act. And the Three Whisky Happy Hour was totally there for it! The big question for us was, what took them so long?
The gang also discusses some of the most recent revelations of perfidy over COVID and other matters during the Biden Administration, and whether another assasination attempt against President Trump is a sign that leftist rage is becoming a critical danger to domestic tranquility, and an ominous sign that wokeri is not going away any time soon.
Plus the unveiling of our custom land acknowledgment at the end.

Love the transitions in and out of the commercials. Very professional looking, Steve. Also, Archie Bunker's balanced ticket reference.

Why did this non-lawyer have to be the one to note that the Civil Rights Acts were passed OVER Democrat filibusters (to include Al Gores's daddy---Al, by the way, is now warning of a coming COLD crisis !!) only due to the huge support those bills got from the GOP?
Now the Party that gave us Jim Crow and which, it is argued, necessitated the 1964-65 Acts, screams of these Acts being gutted when, by a 6-3 margin, SCOTUS brought them back to the Constitution and so, if anything, strengthened protection ESPECIALLY for minorities.

One, I don't care much about gerrymandering. To do it successfully you need to be able to predict voting patterns by population not just for this election, but until the next census. I don't think it's as ironclad as we're told.
Two, look into the story of Hasan Piker and his dog Kira. When he was a twitch streamer he was just a guy sitting in his room talking about politics to his webcam. Then he got a dog. Cute puppy in the background, shoots engagement way up. If all it was was a cynical attempt to manipulate viewers I wouldn't mind so much. But... when his dog would get a little out of frame, or not in a cute enough posture, he'd press a button on his desk, activate her shock collar, and she'd go back into her neatly framed little map in the background of his livestream. I've seen the clips myself. Remember that, while he's a rising star in the Democrat party, that he's willing to torment a dog for minor personal gain.
