Join Jim and Greg for the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch as they dig into the New York Times having to issue an embarrassing correction about the terrorist attacks against Israel, James Talarico and his pastor proving his efforts to appear like a moderate on cultural issues is all fiction, the U.S. poverty rate hitting a record low, and Sen. Mitch McConnell proving he's no longer up to the job.

First, they vent as the New York Times publishes a story stating "Israelis still view themselves as the victims of Oct. 7." In addition to the obvious reaction, Jim explains the double standard that exists in how the Times treats writings from the left vs. the right.

Next, they react to James Talarico's pastor saying the candidate's advisers are telling him to sound more moderate on social issues but that Talarico will be just as far left as ever if he wins the U.S. Senate race. They also note Talarico being asked who is favorite drag queen is and immediately having an answer.

Then, they celebrate news from the U.S. Census Bureau that the nation's poverty rate is now at an all-time low. Jim looks at the overall economic picture in light of this news. Greg compares the very different political reactions between record high government assistance and news like this.

Finally, they cringe as it's clear Sen. Mitch McConnell is deeply confused at best and clearly seems incapable of doing his job any longer. They discuss how unfair this lack of transparency by McConnell's staff is to his constituents and how Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear made this whole situation worse as well.
