Elizabeth Warren urging Democrats everywhere to copy the Mamdani campaign, and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer being investigated for corruption and other misconduct.
First, they enjoy watching Sen. Warren encouraging Democrats nationwide to embrace the Mamdani agenda of free buses, free childcare, and rent control. If Democrats in competitive races want to openly run on socialism, Warren may be handing Republicans a major political gift.
Next, they react to the Department of Labor Inspector General investigating allegations that Secretary Chavez-DeRemer had staff disguise personal travel as official business so taxpayers would cover the costs. And there are other serious concerns about her personal conduct.
Finally, they’re stunned as DNC Chair Ken Martin not only conflates anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis with demonstrators risking their lives in Iran, but also tries to draw parallels between the two governments. It's further evidence the Democrats are increasingly divorced from reality.
