Americans Reject Genocide Olympics, Blue States Flip on Masks, Biden’s Science Advisor Saga

Subscribe to 3 Martini LunchSubscribe

Join Jim and Greg as they applaud their countrymen for their refusal to watch the Beijing Winter Olympics, handing NBC terrible ratings. They laugh at the sudden change in "The Science" as Democratic governors realize mask mandates in schools are unpopular. And President Biden's tough talk on workplace bullying proves ineffective as it took a two month investigation to fire science advisor Eric Lander.

Jim Geraghty (2:37): “You could point to Feng shui” as one cause of the Beijing Genocide Games’ low ratings.

Jim may have meant to say “Falun Gong”, as in “persecution of”.

I think he's talking about Peng Shuai, the tennis player who accused a high level official of raping her and then she disappeared. Now I think she's recanted and retired from tennis.

She might still disappear permanently, if she doesn't retire from China.

@BishopWash — Your interpretation sounds plausible to me. At any rate, I’m not listening to it again!

Perhaps she’ll end up in the same place as the guy who blocked the tanks, all those years ago.

By which I mean, all her transplantable organs removed, for the benefit of aging members of the Chinese Communist elite.
