Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.

There's few places outside of home that a man can claim as his own. One is his desk and the other is his spot at "The Diner."

Not desks, but old bank vaults:
Mrs. Tabby and I have frequented two restaurants (in different states in which we have lived) that occupied spaces previously occupied by local bank branches (nothing so fancy or elevated as the Federal Reserve).
One (a fish restaurant) proudly announced that they used the former vault as their fish refrigerator. "Our fish is so wonderful and valuable that we keep it in a bank vault."
At the other restaurant, the former vault was just used as a storage room located on the same hallway as the restrooms. But it was amusing when visiting the restroom to pass this obvious former fault.
