I hadn't noticed it until recently, but there's a Hunt Brothers Pizza "kiosk" at a store near my "new" place, where I've been for just over 4 years now.

Hunt Brothers Pizza has outlets in many small businesses as a kind of franchise thing, mostly convenience stores etc. They have over 9,000 locations nationwide, apparently making them the largest single brand.

Their starting crusts - regular round, or thin-crust square - are provided to the locations frozen, with sauce and cheese already in place. 10 regular toppings are available. The pizza costs $11.99 and all regular toppings are "free." ("Extra cheese" does cost extra.)

Wonderfully curmudgeonly rant, James. Enjoy those complex carbohydrates.
