Arahant beat me to it. Yes, green it was. I had one of those 4 color clickable ballpoint pens back in the 70s or 80s and I had the same “wow this is cool” take you did. James, I love The Diner - as I do the OG (Ricochet Podcast) - and look forward to every episode of each. Congrats on retirement and get well soon buddy!

Not cane sugar in syrup; maple sugar. I mean sure you could mix up an imitation with cane sugar, water, and maple extract, but if you're not buying the gussied up corn syrup because it's cheap, why wouldn't you go for real maple syrup?
