Tired of the toxicity of social media? Why not join Ricochet for just $5/month? Think of it as an online bar. Come in, have a drink, hang out, say whatever you want. But don’t badger, bully, or berate the other drinkers. That's our only rule.

Forget your lame Pong, man. We've got a pocketful of quarters and we're heading to the Arcade at the mall!

I was obsessed with Dark Tower….loved that game. Also loved the commercial with Orson Wells!! Thanks for the memory!

There's another way to quit a game. Back in aught seven I was out of college, building doors in the door factory. I'd get home from work and spend some time on my brother's copy of Guitar Hero III. I can't say I was very good at it, but I've never shown any musical aptitude anywhere else and I was doing better than I had any right to expect. I got stymied on progress, trying to play one of the later songs on Hard difficulty. I realized that I could get over this hill if I buckled down and worked at it, but then all I'd have is that I'd be slightly better at Guitar Hero. That's fine and all but there's no good reason to knock myself out over it. Never got over that hill.
Growing up stinks.
