The mediating technologies of the new century were welcomed as wonderous life enhancers. A few decades later, we often talk about how the devices we can't put down poison our culture, politics, and relationships. Christine Rosen joins to discuss her new book, The Extinction of Experience: Being Human in a Disembodied World. (Don't let the title scare you off! Christine brings good cheer and a few ideas for a "human things initiative" that can save our skin.)

Plus, Peter, Charlie and James chat about the distinct experiences one has walking the streets of New York, riding out a hurricane, or road-tripping across the nation in search of America's best rollercoaster.

- Sound clip from the open: Eric Adams addressing New York's citizens.

Adams isn't being indicted BECAUSE OF criticizing the administration's illegal immigration etc. But that's why his taking foreign money etc, isn't being ignored as it normally would be.

Kind of like a former VP getting say 10% of his son's influence peddling scheme with foreign companies/organizations?

This is a one of those cases where two things are true at the same time….

Is Mayor Adams guilty of the accusations…most likely (he is innocent until proven guilty) but but…he is more guilty of not only challenging the Democratic Administration but more importantly he went off script as was written by the Talented Tenth…the Black Political Elite who demand 100% aligience no matter the crime and poverty in the neighborhoods…they get their power the rest be damned. He challenged those two and that cannot stand.

If the mainstream conservative commentariat cannot see that…then maybe they need to walk in Thomas Sowell’s shoes for a while.
